A few years ago we featured a tool to increase the size of your thumbnail previews in Windows Vista, but unfortunately this application doesn’t work correctly in Windows 7. However, there is a new tool for Windows 7 that lets you customize your taskbar thumbnail previews even more in Windows 7. With it, you can change almost anything about your taskbar thumbnail previews. The default taskbar thumbnails are nice, but may be too small for users with vision problems or with very high resolution monitors....

Using T3Desk This is a very cool free app that lets you manage applications on your desktop in 3D. Share Access Data First we’ll take a look at sharing an Access table to an Excel spreadsheet. Open the Access table you want to export and click on the External Data tab. From here you can see a bunch of different options you have for exporting the data. In this example we’re using exporting to Excel so click on that. The libraries feature in Windows 7 provides a central place to manage files that are located in multiple locations throughout your computer. How IBM chose to represent text color on the original PC set the standard for text color to follow. Windows 11’s 2022 update just came out, but Microsoft has already begun testing upcoming updates. An all-new Insider Preview was just released, and it carries a handful of additions, including a neat new taskbar shortcut to quickly access your Task Manager. Now, after updating to the latest 25211 Insider build, right-clicking on your taskbar won’t just get you a “Taskbar settings” button. Above it, you’ll also see a new “Task Manager” button that will get you to the newly-redesigned Windows Task Manager....

Your app browsing experience on your iPhone is about to get a little more bloated. Apple is about to officially introduce more ads to the App Store, giving developers more ways to promote their apps, but giving the rest of us more of a headache. Apple announced in an email to developers that the App Store is about to get more ads, according to MacRumors. Specifically, you should begin seeing promoted apps in the App Store’s Today tab as well as on app listings themselves through a “You Might Also Like” section at the bottom....

Taking High-Res Screenshots If you need to take screenshots of what’s on your computer screen, then usually, that screenshot will match the resolution of your display. So if you have to crop and then resize parts of that screenshot for your needs, things can get pixelated fast. By setting your “virtual” resolution to a higher number than your monitor’s native pixel count, you’ll get a screenshot that matches the virtual resolution instead....

If you use Microsoft Word often, the need to change settings such as font or margin spacing each time you start a new document can be frustrating. Luckily, there are many default settings you can change once and never touch again (unless you want to). AutoCorrect Options Using AutoCorrect, as you type your text, Word will automatically capitalize specific words, replace double hyphens with a dash, turn special characters into symbols, and more....

Installation There will be three windows to sort through during the installation process. The first one will show some basic information about ReadAir…click “Install” to get things started. It’s surprising, but AWS is currently maintaining a fork of CryEngine, ever since they bought the rights to use it from CryTek in 2015. They’ve released it entirely for free as “Lumberyard,” and it features many integrations with Twitch and AWS. Wait, AWS Has a Game Engine? The only and obvious “catch” is that you aren’t allowed to run your servers on another cloud provider—you must use AWS. You can run your own servers if you’ve got the hardware or are using a colocation service, but you aren’t allowed to run servers on hardware rented from other companies....
