The Nest Audio is Google’s top-tier smart speaker, with the ability to pair two to create a stereo setup. Now you can get one (or two, or three) of them for $49.99, a discount of $50 from the usual price.
Starting with the basics, the Nest Audio is a smart speaker with Google Assistant. It can play music from popular streaming services (like Spotify and YouTube Music), answer questions, set reminders and alarms, play podcasts, control smart home devices, and much more — all with simple voice commands.
The main selling point for the Nest Audio, especially compared to the smaller and cheaper Nest Mini, is its excellent sound quality. There’s a 75 mm woofer and 18 mm tweeter, complete with three far-field microphones, so the speaker can usually still hear you even when the volume is cranked up.
If you’re on the fence, check out the Nest Audio review from our sister site ReviewGeek. They rated the speaker 9/10, deducting one point because there’s no 3.5 mm audio input. Google has improved the speaker over time with software updates, but it has not grown more ports. You can play audio on it through Bluetooth or Cast, though.
